Foot Fetish

Do you have a love/hate relationship with your feet? I certainly do. I love that they’re feet; that their job is to help me stand upright and get me to places. As a dancer and figure skater, feet are essential to the job, without them, we would be nowhere. But alas, it’s sandal season, and I HATE the way my feet look. Being stuffed in figure skates for most of my life has not given them a pretty look. I fear they will always be misshapen in a way that makes me opt for fully covering Sperry’s instead of exposing sandals.

But if you’re not like me, and wholeheartedly love the way your feet look (or are a better person than I and are more confident in your ability to rock whatever shoe you wear), then here are some of my favorite picks for sandals for this summer!

tory burch sandals

These Tory Burch sandals. Or basically any other Tory Burchs. But ones with bows. The bows get me.

kate spade sandals

And of course, these Kate Spade sandals. Because they are pink and come with a gold bow. What could be more perfect in a shoe?

And no, I don’t have an obsession with bows….

jack rogers sandals

Because what’s summer without Jack Rogers sandals? I think they are the perfect go-to shoe, whether you need to dress up for a summer dinner or relax at the beach.

jcrew sandals

I’ve never been one for high heeled sandals or wedges, but these might have sold me (if I ever get the courage to wear them!). Bows, gold, and glitter, three of my favorite things in life. It practically sells itself.

I don’t know if I’m going to be wearing sandals anytime soon, but here’s hoping you and your feet have a wonderful time with whatever sandal you pick!
